Terms of Reference for development of Business plan 2022 - 2027

FELIDA Big Cat Sanctuary is a sanctuary in the Netherlands that provides special care to rescued and traumatised big cats. FELIDA is a project by FOUR PAWS International, the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them. Our vision is a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding.

The tasks and scope of the work will be to: 

• Identify clear long-term goals and results in the field of animal welfare and educational activities which include but are not limited to:
• USP special care of traumatized big cats
• Plans for enlargement
• Visitors concept  
• The financial feasibility and forecast for 2022 – 2026

• A high quality and comprehensive business plan
• Presentation to the senior management team

• Expererience in business developments plans for the not for profit sector.
• Communication skills including presentations, report writing and research
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Good judgement, pays attention to nuance and detail, takes initiative, sense of responsibility, tact/discretion, with sensitivity 

The Consultant (expert) will be expected to be self-motivated and able to work independently. Supervision and support will be provided by the site manager who will also provide a general induction to the work, relevant background documents, and links to the relevant entities and/ or individuals across the wider organization and outside of it. 

The deadline for the development and completion of the business plan is 1^st January  2022 until 27^th of 31^st May 2022.
